Born from a mother's love.
Since 1995, Kangaroo Kids has been St. Louis' most beloved children's resale boutique. Founded by Tanya Griffin, the store became a place where moms could find beautiful clothes for their growing kids without the full price tag.
In 2003, Sierra Cortazzo was a brand-new mom who found her footing — and her community — at a Kangaroo Kids breastfeeding support group. She and founder Tanya became close friends. When Tanya announced she was moving in 2004, it felt natural to pass the torch to Sierra and her husband Eric.

For 28 years, Kangaroo Kids was proud to offer hands-on lactation support right here in our store — from nursing groups to private consultations. That chapter has lovingly come to a close, but the mission lives on. Our founder has retired from lactation services and is happy to refer families to these trusted local specialists:
Sierra Cortazzo
Sierra is a mom, entrepreneur, and the heart behind Kangaroo Kids since 2005. She took over the store while 6 months pregnant with her second son — and has never looked back.
For 28 years, Kangaroo Kids was also a full-service lactation support center, with Sierra serving families as a Certified Lactation Counselor. That chapter has lovingly come to a close — Sierra has retired from lactation services, though she remains passionate about supporting new moms and is happy to refer families to trusted local specialists.
Today her focus is what she has always loved most: running a warm, welcoming resale shop where St. Louis families can find beautiful clothes, trusted gear, and the confidence that comes from knowing they are not alone in this parenting journey.
